Thanks again guys :)
The knife is sold (to me :D ) I tried it one day, and just couldnt bring myself to take it off my belt, so this is now my new user. I have to say, (even though i am sure that some noggin makers are going to be quite mad at me for saying this  ), that i love the flat grind, i cut everything from bacon to fish with it, and it perfrorms really good :)

do you temper your blades in the oven or do you do it by eye?

If you by temper mean re-heating after quenchin, then yes i use an oven, if you mean heating before quenching, no i use a magnet ;)
