I've been making nickel silver domes and soldering them together to make balls recently.

So that got me thinking about buying myself a dapping block and a set of punches.

Looking around, I found an Indian manufacturing company, and what seem to be the same products being distributed in the UK.

I have a spare set, never used from a reputable supplier in the birmingham jewwllery quarter. PM me if you're interested in a sale or trade.

my doming block and punches is from sutton tools, I have the model block thats shown on your first site as the 'D9', it's a nice size but there is a lot of duplicated sizes on it. I'm saving for a flat dapping block as I prefer them
( like D1)

It makes life a lot easier when you have the right 'kit' :D

Thanks, Zed.

I might get back to you on that, once I've had a look in the jewellery district of Paris.

It's much closer to where I live ;)

I was down there a couple of months ago, when I didn't think I'd be needing this kit (I was searching out glasses and crowns for wristwatches), so didn't look closely at the prices. I just remember seeing small anvils, blocks and punches.
