Hi.

I am struggling a bit.

i have no workspace to set up a mitre saw so wonder if there is anyone who might just happen to have a couple of ebony off cuts needing a new home?

would need a 4 of bits cut at straight angles they need not be more than around 1.5 cm thick.

i would ask that they be planned flat on one side though?

Anyone?

Dave,
checked out my favourite wood shop today, but no thin pieces of Ebony. I know I have some pieces somewhere, memory says about 25mm square by ? thick. Will have a dig around tonight and let you know.

You can guess the dimensions from the cigarette packet etc :D Let me know if any pieces are of interest and I will post to you FOC.

Cheers,

James
