Advanced search and User name

I've just discovered that the user name box in the advanced search section only has space for 12 characters, which is a bit of a bugger as some people have longer names.

Use wildcards: Ste*, Mart* etc.

Also, 12 characters is the maximum length allowed. Those with longer usernames pre-date this restriction. :)

I tried that already and it says it's an invalid user. :mad:

Oh well. I'll just have to search manually! :rolleyes:

The members list (http://www.britishblades.com/forums/memberlist.php?) should get you there quick enough. :)

have you unticked the box about it being the exact user name?

The wild card search won't work if you untick but typing a percentage of the name works fine.
