Rat Wallets...

Does anyoen that's bought one actually find it useful? I got one figuring it looked damn good and to be honest, I still do. But it's far too fat to stick in my pocket, front or back. And I don't feel too secure with the loop at the back coz it's velcro and comes apart, albeit with some effort. And as fat as it is, it doesn't actually have that much room for the amounts of cards I have to carry... :S

Does anyone actually frind them that useful?

Is this like mole skin trousers. You think there made from moles then feel a bit disappointed to find out there not.

I bought one and found it completely useless as a wallet because, as you say it's too fat to carry in pockets. I think it's really designed as small belt pouch or to attach to another bag or backpack.

Perhaps it could have two rings attached for a woven paracord strap, and it could be carried as a dinky little tactical man-bag for the fashionable skinny-look, high-speed, low-drag operators.

I hate belt pouches. and wallets that are not made from dead animals. hence why I have a Paul smith wallet.

the reoccurring problem with the Maxped rat is that people have no use for it unless it's carried on your belt and that's a big sign of middle age and that your life is over IMHO. :)

Just be careful. Once upon a time I stitched together a nice quiver for a friend of mine who enjoyed archery. Made it out of beaver skin, and she started referring to it as her "beaver quiver." She went around for months after that showing it off & telling people I'd made her beaver quiver.
