I've ordered a job lot of 90 curly birch blocks, from Dennis Holmnacka at www.Brisa.fi
EUR145, plus EUR38 for shipping from Finland to me, making them around EUR2 a piece.
Thirty are for me.
Thirty for a mate.
Who wants some?
Keith.

Dave, maybe it would make more sense for you to get together with Trond and Otto to split a box of ninety between the three of you, rather than have the extra P&P of Jakobstad -> Paris -> Kristiansund
Keith.
Keith, I have beene selling curly birch for 8 years, and i only use super quality, and you can not get super quality for EUR2 :-)
Anyway that sounds extremely cheap, I hope there is some pattern in them LOL
Trond
I'll take a piece keith if thats ok how much do u want for it?

Let me get hold of brisa and see what they are charging and what the quality is like. It may well be cheaper to get it from you mate to be honest, I imagine that you managed to get a discount for bulk buying.
Tronds stuff is absolutely fantastic btw, but this is expensive if you only buy one or two bits.
OY Pedersen do you give bulk order discounts or what??

RIGHT! I'll try again. Let's see if my reply disappears into the bit sink again...
Dennis Holmbacka, who (jointly?) runs Brisa usually sells about four qualities of curly birch. I imagine that this is the lowest of them.
I didn't negotiate any special deal, I just looked at this month's special offers.
I'm getting these for myself and passing on the saving to anyone who's interested. Any that are not claimed will be going in my son's building block box ;-)
Keith.
hi keith can i take one pm me! what you want for it.

They've arrived!
Who wants some?
2.05Euros per block, plus postage.
They are not fantastic quality, and some have small knots, but they look OK for the price.
Keith.
They have arrived, tres bon!
When can I have mine?
Juha

Soon, Juha, soon.
All things come to he who waits.
I need to teach my son to count to more than fifteen; he likes to help me work.
Then I need to go to the Post Office again...
Keith.
I cant wait, I wanna, I wanna, I wanna!!! Gimme gimme gimme!!!
(I'm still waiting for my Nokia Mediamaster satellite decoder, it's been two weeks now and no sign yet.
I want my Discovery channel...!)

OK, OK, listen, there's plenty to go round, there's no need to crowd me....
err,
no, that's what I say to the girls in the nightclubs.
I WISH!
Anyway, I've got a few earmarked for Juha, and there's one block on the way to Dave tomorrow.
You, Colin, and Jon wanted a few, between you, and let's see who else.
There are ninety of the little beggers sitting in a cupboard in my flat, just gagging at the chance of a trip to England...
