Tool and spare scale are sold: Flipper available priced at £650 £625 SOLD

Following the earlier (very speedy!) sale of my other Rick Hinderer flipper up for sale here is its big brother that I picked up new (after a very long hunt / wait) at the same time two years ago from Amel at Vienna Cutlery. Other than the same short holiday with Longstrider making the edge even more perfect it too has been locked away unused in my collection.

It is the XM18 3.5 inch flipper variant hand ground by Rick.

I also picked up at the same time the orange scale and the beautifully engineered Hinderer torque tool in the photos which is itself an equally great bit of kit and often equally hard to get a hold of.

At the moment I am looking to sell at £775 for the complete package but may be prepared to reduce the total if the scale or tool are not required. For info, the scales retail at 60 euros and the tool at 75 euros (if you can find them)

The price includes RMSD in the UK, overseas postage would be extra and buyers would be responsible for their own local customs / blade regulations. Bank transfer or paypal fine but if pp then their fees would have to be added.

I'll take the orange scales and the tool if not needed too :)

For anyone that hasn't held one of these knives - they feel like an absolute beast in the hand, feels like to could be used to whittle a tank out of a solid block of steel - the flipper action is highly addictive too, but be careful as if you don't pay attention you'll loose a finger easily!

I f'in love mine, but don't tell the wife :)

Do I take that as a "no" then?

Strange to post up such an expensive (and nice) piece for sale then not monitor the thread, or worse, ignore folks input.
Just not the BB way old boy.

So, was that a no?
Phil. :-)

Edit, just to say the vendor has been in touch very pleasantly, to my embarrassment, just so as not to leave a bad impression. :-)
