Right.

I'm going non Kifaru, deep breath.....

I want something a few litres either side of 30l

Pear/tear drop shaped

Earthy colours

NON molle or military.

I like the Karrimor Sabre Delat shape - I REALLY like the Osprey, but I would like the style of Osprey with the colour of maybe my Kifaru foliage or The Osprey Lichen if it's darkish.

Am I making sense? Budget, under £80 if I can.

Please, inform me.

Here you go Rich.
You can take it to Scotland stalking and it'll suit you more each year :)

Failing that, get a bloody Osprey and give up green ;)

Kelty MAP 3500 perhaps?

Doesn't look too military, in the solid colours.

Closest yet, but I'd rather not have ultralight. I know I'm going to tear it.

If you want something that will last forever get a Crux I bought a AK37 37 litres in size (you get a AK47 as well!) on e*ay as new for less than 50 quid.
Or you could look for a made in England Karrimor on e*ay for next to nothing great sacks that last and last, something like hot ice or hot rock just make sure its the made in England kind.

So, down to two Macpacs and two Kifarus. I'm weaning myself off......

There are few there - have a look at the Røros

Has Tamarack still got its sale on?

EDIT: Oops - just saw you bought something already

This may be on the large side but looks to be a heavier/more robust fabric

I think the older mountain attack packs would have suited you, mines a few years old but still in very good condition (the only thing showing it's age is the dye on the black stitching has gone dark purple)
