Hi all ,has anyone experience of replacing a serpentine belt on a Jeep cherokee 3.7 ltd ,the dealer wants £108 plus vat . while im moaning on £310 for a seat belt, £352 for nsf brake disc , £59 to change engine coolant, £50 for break fluid change,£245 for rear pinion oil seal ,Purge air con £39.

Only had it 11 month done 2000 miles as they say J E E P Just Empty Every Pocket very apt i think:surrender:

It can\t be that hard to figure out and do. The worst serpentine belt I ever did was having to loosen a top engine mount one side at a time and slide through. That only took an hour. You should be able to find a used seat belt and bolt it in yourself. Changing a break disc is child's play as is brake fluid. Oil seals on rear pinions aren't hard either. The air con price sounds reasonable.

Why not buy a Haynes manual and do it yourself? its only nuts and bolts!
