Ordered this a little while ago, arriving last week. Unfortunately I think it's got to go to part fund an unexpected trip to Germany in November.
New & Unused -
Custom made in the US, the rucksack is a rustic / vintage style with a few hidden modern tweaks that should make it more comfortable and practical than other waxed canvas bags I've tried.
- Constructed from waxed tan / olive canvas, reddish brown leather straps, lined with a grey waterproof material (with a moleskin sort of texture), to keep your kit dry.
- Roll-top closure, fastens with long leather straps onto Sam Brown button closures, passing through two straps to retain the lose end
- Inside the back panel of the bag has a layer of 1/2" foam between the lining and canvas. Hopefully more comfortable to carry than the likes of unpadded Duluth packs.
- Shoulder straps are lined with dense felt for cushioning.
- Front of the bag are two expandable pockets and two small slot pockets (flashlight / iPod sized).
Around 15" high x 11" x 5" give or take (measurements as the top is rolled up).

The bag I'm selling is exactly the same, but was made with two extra leather straps added to the base of the pockets to retain the loose end of the straps (shown in the last photo).
