Hi all,
In my never ending (probably pointless  ) quest for the “perfect” ana-digi I’ve ended up with a Casio GW-2500B-1AER that’s surplus to requirements.

This is a cracking all-rounder with looooong list of features you might expect from a mid- to high-end G-shock:
Multi-band 6 radio control with 5 independent motors
200m WR
Tough Solar
World Time (48 cities)
Neobrite lumed hands and display
Countdown timer (1 second intervals)
Auto calendar
Five alarms (one snooze)
Amber LED light with auto function
Power saving function
1/100th second stopwatch
Resin strap (N.B. this is not the bracelet version)
Size approx = 47mm x 47mm
Thickness/depth = 16m
Weight = 66g
Here’s some more pics (excuse the fluff  ):

It’s very comfortable for the size due to the lightness of the materials. Does wear quite large though (the pic below is on my 7.25” wrist). The conventional lume is faint compared to some but perfectly useable.
I particularly like watching the minute hand slide 1/6th of the way between the minute markers every 10 seconds – a very graphic reminder of the precision of these things. 8)
Basically a tough and fantastically useful bit of kit.
Apparently very resistant to G-forces – of limited use to me given the cornering abilities of my old Volvo…
Is in as new condition (apart from the fluff) and I’m the original purchaser so comes with all box, tin, papers etc.
The price of these has recently taken a ridiculous jump from an RRP of c. £120 to £225. :O
This one is can be yours for £85. :) SOLD
Includes RMSD in the UK. Also includes any PP fees if that’s your choice of payment method.
Cheers,
Rod
