Greetings all.
This site seemed too good to pass by, so I thought I'd just drop in.
I'm not much of a contemporary cutler (as most around here seem to be), I specialise more in the reproduction of historical blades (mostly swords) and tend to use more traditional (old fashioned :p ?) techniques. But anyway, just saying hi.

Hi,
Historical blades are just fine.
Please post some photo's of your work to make us jealous/frustrated.
Hi Nostro
Plenty of historical blade fans here as well!

some lovely looking swods on your site but not one to be visited on a 56k connection  :D
Wow, nice swords (ort swods - lol) - like baggy says, you need to compress those pics to make em more web friendly. Love that 2 hander with the curly guard (what is it?). How much do you charge for something like that?

I'll have a go at compressing things a bit in a while.
The twohander with the curly guard is a small 15th century German twohanded sword (almost a bastard sword). Something like that goes for R4600 (price in Rand).

Let me know about the Damascus Viking swords and folded steel Katana when you get them please?

The damascus viking and folded japanese blades are now available as custom orders. I'm not sure whether that is what you meant by 'getting them' or whether you meant items in stock (all items are made by order so there is never available ready stock).
I'll add pictures of examples in a while though.
