There seems to be a glut of cheap DeWalt D28886 and D28885 die grinders on eBay, I'm trying to resist temptation!

Well I gave in to temptation. I made an offer for the variable speed grinder and, sadly, it was accepted. It arrived today and is new in box as desribed, however the size came as a shock, it's like a babies leg!

Here's a photo of it next to a Dremmel.
http://photos.imageevent.com/imagedude/bbladesshop/websize/PICT0101.JPGAs this is a variable speed model I can use flapwheels (10,000rpm max) with it. Fixed speed models run @ 27000 rpm. They are usually used with mounted points (ceramic grindstones) or carbide burrs. Both are available from www.cromwell.co.uk, they also sell the 3mm shank tools suitable for some Dremmel type tools.
