I have recently been on the receiving end of the most amazing generosity from Murat as a result of which I have ended up with his two EDC's.
See this link http://www.britishblades.com/forums/showthread.php?t=20109
Murat was concerned with regard to the heat treatment the blades received and therefore sent me both knives and intends to make me another.
It seems only fair that I try and share out my good luck and show off his work, so I thought I would offer the cocobolo handled knife for a pass around.

I have not done this before but see that Yogs rules appear to be those to follow. Minimum of 80 posts please
I assume members sign up by way of PM's and then I include the address list when I initially send off the knife, perhaps someone could confirm this for me.
All I would add is that the first person who receives the knife sharpens it to a high standard (not my field of expertise) as it lost some of its edge when Murat tested it and discovered the issue with regard to the heat treating.
I think those who handle it will agree with me it is a cracking little knife and Murat is a true gent!

I'll relocate this to the Passaround Forum. The rules are entirely up to you, Spike, but those you have are fine, but I would also specify that the knife is sent by RMSD.

And I'm in!

Thanks for that....where did I put it? Clearly I was not paying attention. I agree with the RMSD bit.

This arrived safe and sound today, I'll see what I can do with the edge on my sharpmaker. First impressions, a very solid little user.

It took a while to get around to getting it in the post and you are right, solid is a good description for it.
