A photo would be good... Jonathan Crookes is (as you will know) one of the old Sheffield makes!

But... The company actually still exists, of sorts, the mark was bought up by an existing Sheffield comany... Jonathan Crookes knives are still, very occassionally granted, made!

Post a photo and I might be able to offer a bit more info on the particular knife you have.

Hi,i've been trying send a photo but can't,the knife is 11 1/2 inches long,the blade is 7 1/2",and 1/4" thick,if you know how i can post a photo tell me,i don't know anything about the maker,so any info would be great,thanks

Hi, if you go to www.photobucket.com and open an account (its free) then upload the picture to your account. When you have done this you will see a series of codes underneath the picture. Copy and paste the one which begins with IMG into a post here.

Try to ensure the picture size isnt too large, no wider than about 700 is about right I think. If your picture is too large you can click on the edit button in photobucket and resize it.
