After lurking for a few months I've decided to come clean . I wasn't a hobbyist maker until I recently ordered a Felleskap from Trond (any help would be warmly welcomed :) )

Until I ordered a knife from Dave Barker I owned a 'Mora training knife ' from woodlore website.

My interest is from a buschcraft/ nature conservation end.

I'm sure I will.

The felleskap, I like the idea of curly birch, I'll start worring about it once I receive it.

Sounds good with curly birch, are you going to be using mosaic pins?
I have thought about making a Felleskap myself, but i never seem to have time for it. Maybe il make a luxus version with damaskus blade and whale russ thoot handles (if i can find time to do it )

Trond, I'd love to get my hands on a bit of whale russ thoot. When I tried to order some, the girl behind the counter looked slightly worried. I wonder why?

So Graham you decided it was time to get out of the lurkers cupboard and onto the slippery slope to debt ( especially if the bug Really bites)

I mean you always want just the little bit of wood there and a blade here, and suddenly swmbo wonders where all the money has gone!

WELCOME :newbie:

Hi Graham and welcome, why don't you come and join the KITH and KEN party. A KEN is a double edged sword in Japanese terminology

Shing, are you making a sword?
