what sort of ton rating would 2000psi convert to?

Sounds a bit like @ the 18-20 ton mark (with a 5" ram, don't know thw pump rating though, that'll have a bearing on the tonnage & speed)

& the motor speed & rating & is it a two stage press or single? Lots of variables, but @ the 20 ton mark would be a good guess though

how easy is it to change the variables if something wasn't quite right.
perhaps I should say how expensive as a better phrase.

Is it something that can be tweaked or is it change major components?

I might have a punt at this if goes for a reasonable amount!

Looking at the apparent size of the beast and with it having a 200 lt tank I would guess that its a sight bigger than a 20 ton press...but then I know nothing:) I'd put in a bid except it would cost me a few thousand dollars to get it here and the wife would kill me.

I must admit I don't know alot about the big presses but I've worked 20 and 50 ton manual presses and they are'nt anywhere near the size of that I thought it might have been at least 50 maybe 100 ton.

It's for railway work it must have had to have been a hefty bit of kit.
