Received my SureFire L4 today and wow, is it powerful for it's size!
Is it worth $150 (In the U.S.)?? Probably not but I love the bright white smooth beam and you can just feel the quality when you hold it in your sweaty palm! I invested in a lanyard from berkeleypoint.com and it's a great addition to an expensive torch; strong but soft and tactile. I can recommend it for knives, torches or mobile phones.
Now I hear that SF are going to produce the U2. Similar to the L4/L5 with a 5W LED but with six power levels. I better start saving all over again!
