Hello everyone. I figured I should introduce myself. My name is Keith Montgomery and I am a regular on many of the knife forums. I have checked this one out a few times and figured I liked what I saw and that I would join.

For some reason I wasn't allowed to type in my whaole name. I was restricted to a certain number of letters so I am just going by Keith.

Hi Keith, welcome to British Blades. I think you might see one or two people you recognise :)

For anyone else looking at this thread, if you don't know Keith, get to know him in case he leaves his Bowie collection to you in his will :)

Keith, I just had a look in the Matrix ;) and I see that we do have a 12 character limit on user names now, but we didn't used to ... I think Martyn must have clicked on some default.

I'll change your user name if you like, just say yes so that I know it's okay, otherwise you'll try to login as Keith and it won't work :)

It's always weird when people have different names on different forums.

I'm dull, I just use my own name. Oops.... :D

HELO, Keith.

I'm Keith.

Watch out for Bruce.

Oh, and not all of Canada is frigid, apparently...
Cold, at this time of year, certainly. Frozen, possible...

But not frigid. Oh, no... I can vouch for that.

Whereas the Norwegian cold has frozen Dave's brain.

Don't stick your comments *inside* the quote, Dave. It makes it difficult for us to read. We might even have to think while reading!

Get used to the cold and having no brain is something that I can do. No sense no feling and all that!

As for the hand. 8 weeks, it's not grown and the drs can't give me a reason as to why. I'm changing casts more often that baggy changes his skids and it looks as tho they are going to have to get the black and decker cordless drill out along with some epoxy and srew the thing together..... Left hand is getting better...... the right aint. :censored: to the noggin health system. I pay 50 quid every time I am at the hospital, when i've paid enough i get it fro free.... but they still don't know how to fix it.... :biggthump :censored:

You broke both of them? I thought only one was done in...

Two broken hands is bad news. My mom broke both wrists when she tripped in a friends garden a few years ago... She could just about dress herself, but couldn't lift anything heavier than a teacup (and that was with both hands)... My dad had to make her a flask of tea and some sandwiches every morning before he went out to work... and do all the shopping, and cook every night...

I changed it to 12 characters because long usernames screws with the table widths on some of the pages - such as the last post column on forum display.php, it forces a corruption of the page layout in some of the page views & messes with my feng shui. :D - welcome Keith. :biggthump
