Blimey! That's good, best buy that then, if you need a motor, otherwise, I will:D:P;)

I dont suppose you would be prepared to pay for it for me until I could raise the funds?

I could collect it so it makes more sense for me to buy it :D

If not then I would happily work it the other way round and collect it for you until a suitable time when we are both in the same place. Provided its not too far out.

Might be worth checking if the seller is open to pick-up rather than delivery, assuming you've not already.

the motor will be a dual voltage motor and will work on 220/415 volts. The invertor will take 240 volt in and split it into 240 volt three phase on the way out with the benefit of full control of the motor. This will only work (as far as I'm aware on dual voltage motors) 240v single voltage cannot be controlled like this and 415v single voltage will require a convertor. Although I did see a rather clever invertor the other day that will take 240 in and give a full 415v three phase out.

Good man Steve, just remember to bid in the closing minute, not before, then immediately go make a cup of tea, trust me, it's best that way;)

If it goes at such a massively low price.

Average ebay prices are £50 for a 1hp motor and another £50 for the invertor Gawd knows how much for a variable speed one.

while we are on the subject whats the next 2" wide belt down from a 72" one that is commonly availible?

I dont think I will have room for a 2"x72" and i dont really want to have to spend ages sourcing belts.

50 x 1550
