Thanks! I'm pouring over your section right now on the British laws.... wow. So, my EDC is not only not allowed in your country, its on the verge of getting banned! I have to study up on your laws some more.....I'm thinking I could get really creative with Section 5(c). :D

Yes, these knife laws are supposed to protect people but really it is the law abiding knife owner who is affected by these restrictions.

The bad guys don’t have to care (unless they get caught ) it is the act of seriously injuring or killing someone that will put them in jail……. not so much as to if it was a fixed blade fighter or (the more commonly used) kitchen knife. If they’re out to burgle they may carry a big (legal) screwdriver….but it becomes a weapon when they use it on you.

Are you ever going to get someone posting on here inquiring as to recommended legal Every Day Carry tools for burglary? Of course not!!!
