hey

i don't remember the price they quoted for o1 but the d2 was so expensive it would have been cheaper to go and mine some iron ore, build a factory to refine the stuff, hire a crew of itinerant liverpudlians to do the dirty work, hot roll it and then send it to myself by special delivery

I don’t know if this place is any cheaper but I just bought two 1/8x2x18in O1 for £26.00 inc P/P and Vat. I found them very helpful .

I think college engineering are only slightly more expensive ....... it just seems you got heavily stung for delivery

I always thought RS was trade only. I have used them but went through the company I work for.

I'll give that a try.
I worked it out that I can get 8 folder blades out of the two lengths of O1 that's £3.25 per blade, when you look at it like that it don't sound so expensive. lol.
