OAL = 22.25"
Handle = 4.75"
Blade width = 2"
Blade Thickness = 0.125"

The blade is stamped on the left side MS LTD. then 1945 with the army arrow above, followed by AF 0100.Handle is Bakerlite(ish) fixed with five steel rivets, and has a lanyard holr at the rear centre.

I have had it for about 40yrs. I got it from a butcher that I worked for as a Saturday Lad when I was still at school. I paid 5s (25p) for it and have used it on camping trips in my younger days.

Any thoughts or comments?

I have a very similar machete, a Legitimus Collins & Co. No.1250 made in 1946. The handle is almost identical but the spine swells at the tip more. I put the details into a google search last year and it came up with one for auction at over $100!!!!

Try googling the details, you may get a surprise!;)
