Mange takk Trond
Price level is difficult .. as I consider myself a hobbyist so far I use to sell in range 100-150 eur. It's not either motivating with a lot of unsold knives. I have put a lot of efforts in this particular model, and will stick to it for a long time I think.
Another model to come is a more Scandi look, 80x22 mm droppoint blade.
That will not be until next year.
I've read here in this forum about your laminated blades, and I'm sure they make excellent using knives.

Right, I've been busy. I made that knife myself, except some rivets and pins. Two years ago I bought a variable speed Håkansson grinder and slowly I can start calling those outcoming items knife blades. Well, the heat treatment is done by Bodycote in Vaasa. I can´t heat treat stainless steel.
We have here in Jakobstad started a knife makers club and have established an interresting cooperation with a club in Sweden. Last week we took a three day long course in how to make a sheath, the fancier type. The Swedish club have many competition champions. Next autum we plan to arrange a course in making a fancy handle, with a well reputated teacher.
I was thinking of making a reserve for some international participants.
Anyone that has an interest in this, drop me an email.
The costs are minimal as we in Finland can have the courses financed by the community. (that's why we pay high taxes on cars...:(
The connections are good, 4 hours by train from Helsinki.
Though this is still a plan.

Oh hey Dennis! Thanks for the wootz - which I believe is now on route from Finland to Norway.
Also, how did you adhere/weld the mosaic pin into the blade?

Hi Daniel
The wootz is on way to Norway.
The mosaic pin is easy. They are made separately. Size 6.2 -6.3mm, about.
First drill a hole 6.1 mm in the soft steel. Heat treat the blade.
Then warm up the area around the hole maybe 150 -200 C, to increase the diameter, and hit the pin gently in place. When cooling down the hole gets again smaller and secures the pin.
