View Full Version : Dead surefire lamp assemblies?
Hi folks, bit of a strange request but I'm wanting to mess about with some dead surefire lamp assemblies - no clues as yet - if it works I'll post some pics. I need some dead 6v or 9v LA's - i'll pay for postage.
Anyone?

It's been a year, and I'm still waiting for my E2e lamp to die! :)
When it does, you can have it if you want.
That would be perfect - Thanks Mr B!!

Hmmm, I could always kill one of my p60 lamps for you. In fact I might have a dead one somewhere...I've got about 6 of the things somewhere (p60 + P61)
well, if you were to drop it or something........

Or zap it with a stun gun.....
P60 or P61 would be just perfect

Hi Ross, I know that I have got a dead one somewhere so if I find it your welcome to it. (it is a bit of a waste killing a new one).
I guess your going to try and make an LED head?
I'm surprised that you don't get CR123's issued at work.
Ophi - that would be great thanks, just fire me a PM if you find it. You're a bit off the mark with the LED head......say no more!
We're lucky to get D cells issued at work! They view them as adequate - and adequate is the term applied to all our issued gear. Thats why I, and alot of people, buy their own stuff.

Sounds like if they had their way you'd still be using 2d Eveready Rubber Torches ;) Remember them? :D
Cheers
Shaun
You may jest but what we get in the cars isnt much different...............the personal issue torch is a cheapo maglite 2aa copy............it is a dire state of affairs.
