I'd leave after breakfast the day before and stop in a nice little country hotel about five-ish.
Have a couple of drinks, a nice dinner, perhaps a romantic interlude with an attractive middle aged female executive travelling on business? Send her back to her rooom about 2.00am, then up for a late full English at half ten and be with us for the halfway mark.
No worries.

GUTTED!!! I really wanted to make it to this but it took longer to get the car sorted than I thought it would. It passed it's MOT, but then I had to p1$$ around getting it taxed. :(
