View Full Version : Spork
This is a must have gadget and, as the name suggests, a combination fork and spoon for the wild outdoors eating experience :D
It is made from titanium and weighs next to nothing.
I have just eaten a lunch of spag bol, sweet & sour chicken with egg fried rice and finished off with a yoghurt and cereal thing. (so I was hungry and it was all reduced at Tesco :D)
The spork made a storming job of all three with a little help from my gob.
They are only 8 quid from www.snowandrock.com but I don’t know how much carriage they charge? As Dave (he is a good chap really) zardoz picked me one up as it is near his gaff.
I had to post something as it has been way too quiet around here today
:D

Sharpen one edge of it, and you can use it to cut the food too.
Of course, there may be the odd downside - "white man speak with forked tongue"?
Cotswold http://www.cotswold-outdoor.com sell MSR's Ti spoon for £11, or the fork & spoon for £15. The spork sounds better value.

Is one enough, though?
I'm worried enough that I only have 3 on me right now...
I only have two on me at the moment, my small classic sebie and a utili-key but I have many many more within easy reach, one of my desk draws looks like a knife shop. I keep all my for sale/trade stuff at work to ensure a speedy despatch to my loyal customers :D

Loyal? You've started a trend with knocking the prices down... Sort of an inverse auction :)
To hand - and in pockets:
Superknife
Spyderco Walker
Wave (can I count this more than once?)
None of the larger stuff!
:D :D

£2.50.
Very tempted, though it must weigh SFA.
Looks rather splendid. Though I'd need a zardoz Ti offcut knife to complete the racing cutlery.
$10.95 fromBack Country Equipment (http://www.backcountrygear.com/catalog/stovedetail.cfm/SN3370?code=gaw03) - but add $10 shipping and that's about £12.
Buy 2 from BCE, still under your duty band, and it drops to £9 including shipping.
We have a winner... if you want to buy 2.
Otherwise it's ask zardoz next time he's by the store...
I'd add snowandrock charge £70 for an Endura
I think I gave about $45
