Hi everyone!
this is my first posting on British Blades, I have been a member of Custom Knife Directory for some time and am just getting back into knife making after about a year away doing other stuff...
I thought you might like to see a little lock back folder I've made from RWL-34, dovetailed, nickel silver bolsters and brass liners. The scale are made from snake wood.
I have to thank Jens Anso for arranging the heat treatment of the RWL-34 as I could not find anyone in the U.K who could do the HT for me.

Hi Chux
Yes it gets some use, usually lives in a belt sheath. In fact RWL-34 holds an edge like no other knife I own!!. I gave the nickel silver bolsters a bit of a buffing before I took the photo as they are quite soft and scrath easy. :(

You did a good job as it does not show in the photo.
Looks good :) welcome to BB

Thanks everyone,
before anyone spots that the blade does not have a nail nick, I have to admit that i forgot to cut one in before sending the blade of to jens. The blade opens so easy I find I don't miss it at all. I installed nylotron washers between the blade and bolsters before pinning everything together and this makes the opening silky smooooth.
Welcome APG, have fun,
Juha

How did I miss this? :yikes:
Welcome Andy, I hope you'll show us some more stuff, both here and CKD (now The Knife Network).
It took me a while to work out the APG part :) ... and 1961 was a fine vintage, though I say so myself......

Nice to hear from you again Roger, Been of the scene for some time and now getting back into making nsome folders.
I am at the planning and getting materials together for something special  Damascus, Mammoth ivory and Titanium Liner lock Barlow style knife :) :) :)
Will show it here first.
I'm new to this forum and glad I found it, looks like there are more U.K makers than I thought and some of them quite local to me.
Best regards Roger and all who have welcomed me to the forum.
