Nessmuk style butcher blade [Archive] - British Blades

The Sheffield factory have been trying a smaller butcher blade in a very nessmuk style and I thought some people on here might like one

I've just been on the phone to Mr J Adams
It seems there is only on batch of these and I'm already taking half of what's left from this thread and PMs (blades are reserved for anyone who has posted here or PM'd me so far)

This will not be a regular line for me and once they've gone they've gone
I can't reserve too many as I don't want to be stuck with blades I can't sell so put your name down so that I can reserve the blades for you.

I've picked them up today

not as many as I'd hoped so there are less blades being sold to cover my train fair. After ones reserved I'll have to put the price up to £7 cover these costs.

They look very similar in width to the Green River blades you were doing Andy. If they are, watch your fingers! They come up to a razor sharp edge! I just finished (finally!) the green river blade Andy sent me over a year ago, and I had a lot of fun doing it. I'll stick some pictures up sometime soon.

I'm going to ask on Monday to see if I can get some 6inch blades

I was told that they would be open to stamping out blades specialy but a minimum of 200, I've sold 36 fairly quickly and some people bought a number. If people think they would want large numbers. Non of these have gone to the US where I think they may be popular. If people have contacts I'd be very greatful

i would most certainly be tempted by one or two things - the skinning blade and the nessmuk me thinks.

though i would ask that you dont reserve me anything at the moment. - ive had a very expensive month so far and funds are rather low.
