Hi folks
As the forthcoming meetup will fall within the season of Christmas bells we've decided to ring the changes a little when it comes to the traditional raffle.
This time we'll be having a festive tombola!
:D
As everyone gets a bit strapped for cash around Christmas we thought this would be a fun alternative to everyone coughing up at least a fiver if not more for a full blown raffle.
I've already got very generous donations from members of a brand new service issue combat jacket, some knife manufacturer t-shirts and some basic SAK style folders. I have some interesting bits and bobs to add as well from my own stash.
;)
I'll also be trying to cheekily blag whatever I can from various BB dealers in this season of goodwill to all men.
:D
So if you have anything at all that fits into the sort of stuff we spend our time chatting about then do please bring it along and add it to the communal pot. Anything from a single spy capsule to a genuine Scagel will be gratefully accepted!
:sign20:
My thoughts are that we'll charge just £2.00 on the day for a tombola ticket, and the resulting pot of money will then itself become one of the tombola prizes. If an expected minimum of twenty people turn up, that means someone will have at least forty quid to put toward a Crimbo pressie for themselves.
Sound good?
