Just wanted to introduce myself. I'm a Police Officer in Houston, Texas. I have a moderate collection flashlights and carry a PILA GL4R as my primary duty light. Myon duty shotgun has a PILA GL3R mounted and I own the GL2R and GL3Rx as well. I also own several Surefire lights and one streamlight.
On duty you can never have too much light when working nights.
Anyway just thought I would say hello.

Welcome to British Blades. You'll get on well with Ross, he's also a police officer with too many torches.

as far as lights on my belt is a PILA GL4R. in my bag is a PILA GL3X rechargeable as a back up and a Surefire G2Z using PILA 168S and 3.7v lamp. Just picked up a Nuwaii 5w Luxion and it is loaded with PILA 150S cells.
My other lights sit at home charged and ready to go in the event I need them. Gets kinda heavy having all the lights and spare parts in the one bag I carry in the car.

Hi madecov, good to see you here too :grouphug:
welcome to BB madecov... I got so hooked on this forum I moved to the UK from the US..... ok so maybe I stretched the truth as to why I moved from the US to here. Look forward to your future input on the forum.
Though I do travel back and forth from the UK to the US since I still run my business there as well...my fiance forces me to go to the beach in the winter because the Gulf water is still warmer at that time of the year than it is here in the summer.
cheers,
Joe

Well, this week I hope to purchase a Surefire LM90. Just got a new (older) benelli to use as a duty weapon and it needs a new light. I also hope to get myself a laser devices OP9. Even though I have about 50 CR123's laying around I will have to run my 9v lights on PILA batteries

Another CPF Member joins British Blades. I did the same. Found Joe of ODS. If I get an OP-9 I'll get it from him.
You can have too many torches when you no longer have a shelf long enough to keep them on, and your dedicated carry bag does not hold them all.
In fact, I was hunting out an LU20 Housing to photograph for Madecov and I found that I have a spare M3, M4 and M6 in a box at the back of my cupboard.
I have plans for them mind...
Too many torches is when you're not sure what you've got or where they are!!

Well, the LM90 is on the way and today I ordered an OP9. Both are going to be used as dedicated weapon lights.
I figure I might need a Strion , then an M4. Of course I have yet to really get into the Luxion's.
I need to win a lottery.
