Raffle at Leeds 16/02

Hi,

A change of plans, we were originally planning on holding a raffle at the Cardigan Arms pub meet the day after the Spyderco meet.

We will now be holding this after Sal finishes his talk on the Saturday in the Armoury, before we go for a ruby :D

Tickets will be a pound £1, and you can buy as many as you want (looking at you Mr KC) I will NOT beselling tickets beforehand on BB as its gets very complicated for my feeble mind. Tickets WILL be on sale before Sal starts and immediately after he has finished :)

All funds raised by the raffle will as last year, go towards funding Hammerins and meet-ups. Who gets what depends on how much we raise etc :)

As per last year I have a small stash of kindly donated items, but would not say no if those kind hearted BBers out there were to offer further inticment to spend a pound on a potential golden ticket :D

Thats a very good point, I will amend the first post to say that I will NOT beselling tickets beforehand on BB as its gets very complicated for my feeble mind, HOWEVER I will most definitely be selling them on the Saturday...after Sals finished speaking of course ;)

A very good point...and one I should have clarified in post #1 :C

All funds rased in this raffle go towards hosting the many Hammerins that happen throughout the year, in particular the large one held by jhobson on the second May Bank Holiday and the several Owen Bush holds throughout the year.

These events cost a LOT of money to run when you add everything up and lost of people benefitt from them at once which is good :D

Have been through the wardrobe of doom and found some steel Mik gave me to give away at Jacks 2007...and this was left over.

So we have one set of ali plates to line your vice (not to mark the work)

Several pairs of Ti, about 1mm thick perfect for chunky liners or for fine spacers (be prepared for plenty of elbow grease with the files though ;))
