About the Gallery...

The gallery is in need of update. It's high on my "todo" list, but untill it's done, you will see erroneous messages, although pictures are still viewable.

The gallery is now fully functional. The colours nees sorting, but everything works perfectly, I'll add some catagories and such, but please feel free to use as you will.

If you are registered on this forum, then you'll automatically have registration in the gallery. No need to do anything more, other than clicking "upload pictures".

Ahhh, I had the disk space limiter set to 0kb for each usergroup. OK, I've reset it to 1000kb, you should be able to upload now ;)

If I'm right, it should work for you now. I think it's something to do with gzip compression. Gzip is used to optimise and compress the forum information, which dramatically saves bandwidth and speeds things up a bit. I've just looked over the photopost forums and discovered that when photopost is integrated into vbulletin, ie uses the same headers and footers that the rst of the site uses, it wont work with gzip enabled.

I've just disabled gzip, I think this might be the problem, but I have to say, I'm not real happy about it. At the moment, it doesnt matter too much, because there are not many forum members. I have a pretty hefty bandwidth allowance, but still, gzip saves huge ammounts.

I'll just have to hope that photopost sort the issue out before it gets too busy in here.

Cool. I've added some stuff to make navigation easier. There is a new header - though only temporary, I just neede to put something up to give decent navigation, it'll do for now. There is also a button under every post, like the old site, this will take you to everyones personal gallery directly - just click on the gallery button inside a members post, to go to that members gallery - easy.

Sounds good Martyn, won't be posting for a loooong time (the way things are going, I haven't looked at a piece of steel for 3 weeks:eek: (father-in-law just had a bypass, have to help out there, building a shed for the missus (still.) Trying to sell some stuff for my mum (pewter dragons & Dr Who stuff (long story)) cataloguing 10,000+ comics, sorting out pre-move boxes, then I can sort out the shop :D , still, hopefully I'll start grinding before Christmas (customer wants delivery end of Feb, loads of time;) )
