Seems I fell foul of the rules the first time round. Appologies to all, my bad. Well now it's in the right place I'll try again.
After the success of the EMCCU Bushcrafter weekends (http://www.britishblades.com/forums/showthread.php?t=36025), I've decided to run a series of them throughout this year. Each one will be a Saturday afternoon and evening bushcraft activity - and will be much more focused than the EMCCU meets, followed by a nights camping/roughing it in the woods. Sunday morning will be a relaxed affair, covering a bit more of the same.
Each of the weekends will be themed, covering subjects such as fire, shelter, knife use and safety, ancient weapons, camp cooking, carving, tracking..... You get the idea.
Each of the weekends will be covering one subject, that way people can pick and choose. If one subject proves really popular than I'll just re-run it for those who missed out.
The first one will be early to mid March, and will be covering fire without lighters/matches. I'll just have to check the availability of the woods at work tomorrow.
Price will be £25 per head for the weekend, and will be limited to 10-12 people. Certificates will be issued, and there may well be a small prize for anyone getting a full compliment of certificates.
Any interest?
Edit: I can see I'm going to have to do the list straight away.
