Seems I fell foul of the rules the first time round. Appologies to all, my bad. Well now it's in the right place I'll try again.

After the success of the EMCCU Bushcrafter weekends (http://www.britishblades.com/forums/showthread.php?t=36025), I've decided to run a series of them throughout this year. Each one will be a Saturday afternoon and evening bushcraft activity - and will be much more focused than the EMCCU meets, followed by a nights camping/roughing it in the woods. Sunday morning will be a relaxed affair, covering a bit more of the same.
Each of the weekends will be themed, covering subjects such as fire, shelter, knife use and safety, ancient weapons, camp cooking, carving, tracking..... You get the idea.
Each of the weekends will be covering one subject, that way people can pick and choose. If one subject proves really popular than I'll just re-run it for those who missed out.

The first one will be early to mid March, and will be covering fire without lighters/matches. I'll just have to check the availability of the woods at work tomorrow.

Price will be £25 per head for the weekend, and will be limited to 10-12 people. Certificates will be issued, and there may well be a small prize for anyone getting a full compliment of certificates.

Any interest?

Edit: I can see I'm going to have to do the list straight away.

Took it's time coming though. I seem to have been about 15 posts off #2 for weeks.
Names duly added.

The date for this - if people are still interested is going to be March 8th & 9th. Start around midday on the saturday, learn bushcraft fire techniques in the afternoon and have a camp over. Sunday will be relaxed and we can do a bit more bushcraft over breakfast.
I don't know how popular the rest of these courses will be now thast they're in the dealer sales.

Yes, it would appear so. I was looking at february in the diary. 8th & 9th would be right then I guess. It's not been my week.

Ant 3 years out of 4 you'd have got the right dates and nobody would have noticed, you were just unlucky ;)

Unfortunately those dates mean I may not be able to make it, will confirm next week.

There can be drinking this time. I think it's because I got in trouble and had to put it in the dealer sales. Must start advertising else where too. :D

This is a fantastic offer, Ant. Sadly I can't make this one (ironically I'm off down to sussex for a spot of bushcraft and deer cull!)

Please keep me posted as I'd love to come on a future course.

Best wishes,

Chux

Not to worry. If there's the interest then I'm going to re-run this again anyway.
