hi folks,
although it still needs it's sheath and a final polish, heres the latest piece I have been working on.

the blade is forged from an octagonal 12mm rod of tool steel that I had left lying around from making some chasing tools, the handle is beech and is hand carved with marks left in it for grip, it has a silver loop for the lil' leather cord and beech bead to fasten to.
it's also my first attempt at file work on the spine.

it's going to have a small neck pouch/sheath with a handle up carry, which will incorporate a pouch for tinder and a small fire steel.

the entire piece will look 'tribal' with beading and a plaited leather neck 'string'

So what do ya think ?
