I am after a small bag i can carry which will hold my wallet, my Blackberry, a folder / multitool ,a torch, a notebook, my keys and baccie / lighter, basically all the stuff i need for work, which i can't be bothered carrying in my pockets.

I am happy carrying around like a litte 'man bag' or chucking it my rucksack, it will be carried all day, to and from the office and outside a lot.

The ones that Rapidboy recently did a group buy of are excellent. Here's the GB thread with a link to his own thoughts on the bag:

for the non tactical look I have an eastpack bag but it isn't very big, runs out of space if you need to carry water. Then I use a MaxP Jumbo.

Something a bit smaller than these, i have a sort of 'game bag' which i have had for years...which is similar to the belstaff ones.

I like the ones RB did, but again just a bit too big...

I was thinking more along the lines of something i can carry in my hand, or chuck in my rucksack..

perhaps Maxpedition do one, i will take a look;)

Similar to Ren's recommendation is Spec-ops Brand's Pack-rat:

I've been using this for the past three years and it comes in extremely handy whenever I travel.

Second this, ideal for all your bits and pieces, kept in one place inside your day sac :)

A Maxpedition M1 might do the trick, you can thread the waistebelt of your rucksack through it too.

Just got my self one of these in khaki and it is a great size for carrying the essential bits and bobs that won't go in your pockets. It has 18 seperate pockets so no excuse for things banging together.

Looks slightly 'handbaggy', but we are all confident enough with our heterosexuality to accept that! :D

Doesn't look overly tactical - unless you add the Monkey admin pouch and cover it with morale patches... which I have!

Highly recommended.

Have a look at some of the NiteIze holders - these are small and designed for the few things you mention.

Not the Pock-its (its too small) but the Multi Pock-its or the Side Office should do it

Side Office (http://www.niteize.com/productdetail.php?category_id=27&product_id=129)

www.Glowgadgets.com has this for about £11, IIRC

I got a Molle copy (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/SWAT-Army-Molle-Utility-Hunting-Waist-Pouch-Bag-Pack-BK_W0QQitemZ120269668829QQihZ002QQcategoryZ52509QQ ssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem) but in green from ebay. It only took 4 days to arrive from Australia :O

I'll second that, I was looking for something fitting the exact same description. I decided the M2 was too small but I still wanted a front flap for the Blackberry so I could answer it, the M1 is just the right size without being too big.
