This is the very first Fällkniven blade that I customized. A guy ordered an H1 and this F1 as a set in the same stabilised wood, and wanted me to etch my name / logo on the opposite side to the Fällkniven logo (something that I not usually do if I haven’t made the blade myself). When the knives were finished, but before the sheaths were made the customer dropped the order, which left me with two knives. The H1 was sold earlier this year to a friend of mine, and this is the F1.
Handle scales is made of stabilised ash burl dyed “greyish purple” (at least that was what the label said), you judge the colour yourself. Brass Corby rivets and brass thong tube, thin reddish brown Vulcan fibre spacer between steel and wood). Leather thong with reindeer antler “pearl”.
Size should be well known to anybody who have handled Fällkniven F1’s before, but for those who has not the measurements are: blade length – 9,9 cm, handle length – 11,3 cm.
Blade blank is slightly modified (fingerguard area + bottom of handle).
Black leather sheath.
New price £ 120,- including postage by registred and insured airmail to anywhere on this planet.
Payment by PayPal (same price, no extras) or bank guaranteed check.
Comments are welcome, and thanks for looking.
Very nice Gerd:) I like the design of this knife :)
What kind of leather for the sheat? and what thickness?

Putting your logo on was a good idea. Beautiful knife...not absolutely convinced about the colour though, although maybe it would grow on me with time. Subtle, I suppose :)
It looks lovely to me Gerd; excellent work!
:approve:
I like seeing the occasional very dark wood handles on scandis (if the F1 is a scandi  Maybe scandi-ish?) as it seems to balance the knife out and give a bigger looking blade. The rivets and lanyard tube complement the whole very well. Very nice looking sheath as well.

Shame I have no money........

I really like dark handles. I think they look nice and at home in the woods where a F1 should live

Thanks for the comments guys.
Trond - leather is the veg tanned leather (not halftanned) from Jørn Jensen. Thickness is 3-3,5 mm.
Danny - the colour had to grow for a couple of weeks on me too , but now I really dont think that it is bad. I actually have been thinking about making it one of my own EDC's for outdoor stuff, but then decided to see what would happend if I put it out for sale here. I didn't have any more of the same handle material otherwise I would have included a rehandled FireSteel as well.
The price is slightly less than I would charge for a special order for one of these knives, but I might still be open to serious offers and discussion of the price too... :D
Putting logos on a knife with someone elses blade is something that I have been reluctant to do, although I know that several top Noggin knifemakers have done that, and some still do, although they do not forge the blades themselves (usually done on the opposite side of the blademakers mark). Traditionally most knives in Norway have blades forged by somebody else than the maker of the knife (handle & sheath), and unless they mark the knife in some way or have their very own distinctive style, there is no way of knowing who actually made the knife.

Tvividr,
My advice would to wait a little while for everyone to recover from their 'Bark River' spending spree's rather than dropping your price...
Maybe you'll be you'll fair better after a few paydays have passed !!!

I totally agree with Rich, Gerd don't sell yourself short, it's a nice job that you have done and once people have finished paying for some of the other bits that they have coming then you will probably find a fair amount of interest :).
Jepp I agree, lovely knife Gerd. Excellent work! :biggthump
If I had the funds available I would take it. What a fantastic knife and sheath. Well done!

Its a beauty and the sheath is great too, have you tried the Bushcraft forum, make a nice change from WLs.
