re odd spyderco

Hi guys I bought a spyderco off a fellow forumite here, but can't find info on it anywhere. Can anybody tell me a bit more about it. It says solo on the blade and has a bird fying inside a triangle logo on the blade. The last owner said it has been confirmed by Sal Glesser that it's a spyderco, and it came in a spyderco box, but there is no spyder motif anywhere on it. It's a button lock and it looks like AUS6 steel (I think).

Have been having a bit of trouble joining the spyderco forum, so I thought I would ask here. Any info greatly appreciated. :) :) :)

You should join the Spyderco forum and look back in the archives . There was quite a bit of discussion about it at the time and also at bladeforums I think .

I seem to remember Danzo got that particular knife from Charity but stand to be corrected .

sal glesser does come here a fair bit, give him a PM, maybe
or email spyderco .. 'a bird flying' .. they have a range called Byrd, made in china, could be a prototype or so
