Just when I thought I was starting to build up too many mid-sized fixed blades in my collection, I received this wonderful little knife from Andy, which immediately carved a niche for itself.
This baby necker came in a kydex sheath - a good thing too, because it has a wide and deeeeep hollow grind and a razor sharp edge and I wouldn't dare carry it about my person without a secure, rigid sheath.
It's incredibly useful and has the cutting power of a much larger knife. I guess that's mostly due to the generous choil and thumb indentation on the spine of the blade.
It's great for sharpening pencils, cutting leather, peeling fruit and pretty much everything. It's also one of the few fixed blades I'm confident I could explain away to a policeman or co-worker.
I think the scales are cocobolo, and are finished to an outstanding level. The fit and finish is of a professional level arr around the knife.
What a great KITH! With this and Guy's, I've really lucked out.
Thanks Andy! :biggthump
