Before all the usual "if you don't like it or think its too expensive, don't buy it" comments flood in, take a look at this knife.

Ahem... not the best looking knife in the world, but $575 for a knife like this? Even a Sebby is not that price and I bet the Sebby is a heck of a lot more bang for your buck than this thing. That the first time I would ever call a Sebby value for money!
You could get a hand made custom from one of the big boys for that kind of money and for a little more something really really special.
The mind boggles.:S
Does anyone here actually like the look of this knife?
The only SOG's I really like are the bowie's they make and those are quite overpriced as well. In my humble opinion anyway.:(
whispery voice if you build it they will come if you build it they will come
But at $575 dollars I would want James Earl Jones hand delivering it to me

To me it has the look of "Tactical, Practical, Ninja Death, Slayer, Buffy" knife... Made in China £5.75....
Not my cup of tea at all. And for that sort of money, if only I had it, I'd be straight to the door of Mr Lightfoot!
well, they do say it has been exposed to high intensityy radiation..... and with gas prices like they are now....
Thats nice for a SOG knife.
Not that i would buy it.
I dont think it's too bad, does look like a typical $30 dollar knife though.

Methinks they have made a decimal place error. They make sharp stuff for sure, but nothing that I'd pay over a hundred quid for.

The Fatcat is like our Tomcat after exposure to high levels of radiation
So, dead then?
Not terrible but it's worth maybe $200, the TiNi coating is two tone, after all.

No, you can't tell if it's a Fatcat or a Tomcat until you take it out of the box...
Its not so bad, but $575 is crazy. $57.50 and I might be tempted:ashamed01

I wouldn't mind a go of it.

I like it very much, But i dont like it enough to spend that kind of cash on. I would imagine there is a mistake in the pricing.:)

Either way it should be sterile.
That knife certainly isn't :yuck:
The Tomcat is $230 which already seemed a bit steep
I could picture this knife in a More Proof DVD
i like it but not at that price

i like it - not so keen on the 'Norman Bates stabby-stabby' shot-in-hand in the link!
is that arc lock what it looks like - a close-to-the-wind rip-off of the axis lock?
I think Sog and Benchmade had a legal fight over that

VG10 blade, and $575 Mmmmm not a bargain then. Cold Steel have been putting mad prices on some of their knives recently, Is it a factory trend or something.

Reference to the film Sneakers, just in case you haven't seen it!
