Spyderco Rookie G10 VG-10

I've just ordered what looks like the perfect Spydie for me, the sprint run G10 Rookie (http://www.spyderco.com/catalog/details.php?product=361).
No choil, no finger grooves, no extra holes for the various clip positions - just right hand, tip up :biggthump

I'm a bit unsure.


I'm not too keen on the Delicia as I find the 'guard' a bit annoying as it bunches my fingers up a bit. The Rookie looks like it's not as bad but personally I just don't see the need for that front bump.

I really like how slim the Rookie is. G10 is a big plus as well.

Just a shame about the handle front and half false grind (either all the way or not at all for me)

It's a fair bit smaller than I thought. My Police tends to stay on the self because of its size, and I thought a smaller version would be just perfect for EDC (G-10 instead of SS handles didn't hurt either), but I don't think this one would work well in my big hands.

I guess I'll have to keep hunting for a plain edge Mini Manix. :(
