It would be nice to meet up with other knife builders/collectors If we pick a spot in the middle of Staffs so most people travel the same distance ish maybe Stone or Stafford area on a Friday or Saturday night about 7:30 and all have a natter I'm new at this and would love to meet others with knowledge

Having looked at several of these Meet-up Threads, the key thing to sucess is getting a place to meet.
I tried it for a possible Worcestershire Meet and couldnt find a single pub that would welcome us :(

Get the venue first and everything else will revolve around that.

I'm in Worcestershire and would love to meet some fellow knife people. I would be prepared to travel. An afternoon/early evening would be best for me.

Maybe the best approach is to book a private room in a small hotel. There could be a cost envolved, hence entrance fee or raffle etc.
