My newly designed field knife for April 2005 delivery. This has a 115mm long, 4mm thick high carbon chromium steel alloy blade. the blade tip is spear point for boring and it has a generous guard to minimise accidents in cold, wet conditions. Each blade is individually differentially heat treated for toughness and edge holding. The base model has a natural Tufnol linen handle similar to Micarta with nickel silver Corby handle bolts. The handle is a good hand filling size that allows a strong grip with fine control. Tufnol gives a good grip even when wet. Comes with a tough and pratical Kydex sheath as standard. Extra cost options include cocobolo, walnut, oak, maple black or Antique Micarta handles, lined lanyard hole and leather sheath with or without a SAFELOK fire steel holder.
