Today I recived a Böker-Magnum earl

Bought it on Ebay for £28 including p+p from US.
Magnums own price is about 70 euro so I got it for a bargin..... I thought.
only after placing my bid on ebay did I do the research on the knife,
realising it wasn't a true Böker but a division of böker.
Anyway, after two weeks in the post, escaping customs gready hands
my post man delivered it this morning.
First impression told me it was some tat you would have picked up in a third world country flee market, that was later explained when I saw the 'china' etched on the blade. but after playing with it for a bit I think I got more value than what I payed for.
It is ment as my wife's christmas pressent, (her new mushroom knife)
so I think it will do the job nicely.
I've got no idea what steel it is, but it take, and hold an edge it seems,
it just doesn't scream 'QUALITY' to you,
anyway, I'm slowly but surely turning my wife into a collector :]
this will be her third one :)
