That's cheap for a USA-made knife featuring S30V and CF.

I haven't heard much about the T-Mag since it came out. Is it safe to say that the design was a flop?

Thanks for putting this up, unbelieveable reduction from $249.99 to $49.99 :O

Not the most attractive of spydies, but with the CPMS30V blade, CF handles and Ti liners for $50 is too much to resist, £156 on HH. Just ordered one and had to stop myself getting a few more :D

Cheers, Paul :)

AFAIK people don't want non-locking knives and as the mechanism on the T-Mag is one of the weakest I can see how it's not been a big hit.

Good price but.....only if it gets thru customs, after all it could be a gravity knife..... ;)

When I bought one used on here the pivot was so loose it almost was a gravity knife and the lock is so weak you could just flick it closed. Thats not to say I dont like the knife, infact I edc it over the UKPK as the larger handle fits my hand better and I love the blade shape. Ok the lock up is weak but the UKPK isnt that great when compared to a QC country cousin or similar and thats what the finger choil is there for. I can see myself getting another at that price.

Just tighten the pivot screws slightly to achieve "thumb-opening" levels of tightness as opposed to a "wrist-flick" level of looseness

Thanks! After seriously controlling my spending over the last couple of months, I've just gone and ordered one.......

BTW, just for info, shipping is $25.00.

Still a bargain!

I have one , I just consider it a friction folder . Its an OK EDC , only problem I had was it's propensity to pick up coins , watch it around mag stripe debit an credit cards .

I have a T-Mag, they aren't quite as bad as some make out. I would be over the moon if the UKPK mechanism were integrated into the design though.

Yeah, thanks Kam, :)

Having decided not to buy anymore this year, you show us that !

Oh well, to good a deal to miss out on, the spec on that knife at that money,
no brainer, as they say.

Thanks for the heads-up.

I just ordered one. I wanted one for a while but the price turned me off a bit. For 50 dollars I had the moral obligation to purchase one.

Received my T mag today, very nice. I don't think the magnet is strong enough for any serious use, but with finger in place at the choil, not too bad.

I'm quite glad the powers that be, didn't put it through the central frugal test though ! :O

Doesnt lock open though so they can try as hard as they want, it cant be impounded for that flimsy excuse ;)

Sorry Skippy,

can't do photo's at the moment, my little lap top memory is full and I've had to put my i-photo file on an external drive !

Should be up and running again with my new birthday lapdog in December.

I would recommend the T mag though, at that price you can't go wrong. plus they won't be made again. (I presume)

Glad to hear that. I think the recent threads about seizures may have got me a little paranoidish ! :)

Got mine today too.

Literally shaving sharp cpms30v blade, lovely carbon fibre scales, nice and light with just the right size blade.

Only thing is that the lockup is nearly non-existent. Much less secure than a UKPK or actually than pretty much any normal slippy of any kind you care to mention.

Lovely knife in many repects, but almost unuseable for anything other than the lightest of tasks, opening envelopes, parcels or whatever, and you need to grip the choil even then to feel safe.

Shame, everything about it is spot on, except for the lockup, it really is almost non-existent, literally.

Worth the reduced price I suppose, but now much clearer why they have reduced them.......

Cheers, Paul :)
