I just got these recently from Boker Germany so they are production prototypes...only the G4 has any markings on it.

God bless and have a great Thanksgiving everyone!

Aloha Thinker,

Don't have the actual OAL on the RNR, but it's 1/8" bead blasted 440C, and last I heard, the sheath will be KYDEX. Availability is sometime early next year. Here are some more pics, terrible ones at that, showing the RNR doing some "things"...I noticed that using it Kiradashi style (using the front of the RNR) provided more depth, while using the belly of the RNR provided more thin, controlled stripping on the old clothespin I found...

Scraping an old door...

Now, using the belly in Rock N Roll fashion cutting up some thick weeds from my yard...I HATE these weeds, so I had fun doing this test!!!:P

Hi Daywalker
I like the black one (I got a Wharcom so I guess I am partial to wharncliff/sheepfoot profile!)
Any paln of having a slipjoint subcom or trance? Now this would be useful in the UK.
All the best

Aloha SLT.AMBEMC,

Not sure about a "Slippycom", but I did send a two blade slippy design to Boker Germany. Perhaps that now they passed a "new" law there, they may look into it more...:)

I know ya like the G4, but check out these pics of the RNR "food prepping" a guava. All I did was place the tip of the RNR onto the "cutting board", and rock downwards...no slicing motion. Worked just like them big, spooky paper cutters we had in school.:P

"Rock N Rolling" the other half...

Dicing...

And finally, using the wide RNR blade as a spatula. Try THAT with a skinny blade!:]

Hope the slipjoint project goes forward. I think we will need ever more modern designs of non-locking knives given the situation here in the UK, in Germany, Denmark, etc.
The RNR as a spoon, yes, that solves a problem I encountered many times in the wild when eating out of a can with only my knife (my own answer to the problem was to buy a tanto-shaped knife which is slightly "spoonier" than a clip point!)
