Always liked the Grohmann blade design, and over the years have messed with various designs. I didn't want to copy theirs. Never could put together something that wasn't strange looking:D This one seems okay, The blade isn't quite as extreme as the Grohmann, but it's still basically the same shape. It's 4.5 inches of 3.2mm 154CM, with some of my burlap and coppper trim...9 inches OAL. Nice slicing blade; anything from tomatoes to game. Still needs sharpened/sheath.

I like the Grohmann, but it apparently doesn't share the same feelings towards me:( I was out with the Beagle today for the last day of rabbit and was skinning/butchering one out when I made the smart move of checking on the hound whilst skinning. Interesting wound. Bled like a stuck pig. Didn't even know I'd done that until I looked back down. I'd just did a fuller convex on it...it works;) Great knife; I carry it all the time anymore. We'll learn to love one another. Eventually.
i really love your design Joel, I mean that simplicity is a matter of use. And they look as extremaly useful and handy!
Cheers!

That`a very nice, clean and elegant knife, Joel! And that copper bolster sums it up nicely. :biggthump
