Just a thought - would it be useful if I made the subsection (category) in the gallery, for posting "projects under construction" so that posts in this category dont show on the main forum page? - That way, you guys could use it to post small illustrative detail pics - but keep the "thumbnails" on the main index page for finished blades. Whatcha think?

I think that if you explained all those big teknkal wurds to a laim brane like me, then I might be able to voice an opinion on the veracity of the idea

Doof!

OK, what I mean is.....

On the main page of the forums (the index page) there are 5 thumbnail pics. Those pics update automatically whenever someone adds a pic to the gallery. It shows the gallery's latest additions.

Well, often (especially when illustrating a project or something) you may just want to post a pic which shows some detail of something you've been working on. It may me some closeup shot of a particular detail, that only has relevance to the thread you are posting too. As it stands at the moment, that pic would show up on the main index page in the thumbnails.

But... I can amend the "under construction" category so that it doesnt show up in the thumbnails. By doing this, adding a pic to that category would make it available to use in posts, but it wouldnt show up on the main page - got it? ;) :D

Hey Coop, in the traditions of King Arthur, we operate a round table - unless of course, you're from Kent, then you have to sit on the end! :D

Jim, if you look at a map of the UK & imagine it's shaped a little like a man driving a car (Ireland as the steering wheel) Kent is where Britains butt sits:confused:
