starter kit advice please

hello there,
I am looking at purchaseing a starter kit from attacc.com just so i can start getting certain procedures correct.
Any help would be appreciated, what type and why?
my major problem is lack of tools for sharpening such as Jigs etc.

I think you'll find that all the kits on their pages come ready sharpened.

BTW i've sacked the kit idea and started my first knife 2 days ago, it is a custom Fush Gutting knife for my friend, full tang and trying for maple scales and brass or copper pins.
i will dig out pics and post them in the custom section asap,
