Anyone got any pic's of a crossdraw sheath?
I'd like to make one but im not sure if the belt loop should go in the middle or at the end or if the sheath should be set at an angle or not.

I wear my Chris Reeve Project 1 on my left hip, even though I'm a right hander, so I suppose this is cross draw .
The sheath is exactly as it came from Framar with the knife sitting perfecly upright and I've never had any problems either drawing or sheathing the knife. I think it just depends on what is comfortable for you.

The only one I've got is for a Moran Spyderco. Loop is about in the middle, set at an angle IIRC.

years ago I made a cross draw for my Bowie and it's realy comfortable (I have been using it for about 14 years now!)
the belt 'loop' is more like a flat strap stitched at an angle right across the back of the sheath.
I have repaired it with pop rivets , but I will post a picture if you want?

although this is a knife review, you'll find a picture of the sheath further down the page. I sometimes use this IWB cross-draw.

Cross draw is, in my opinion, by far the most comfortable and safest method of carry and use anyway. :)
Have a go RB. Be very interested in the results. ;)
